Before Tiforce Exhaust System Installation :
1. Confirm that each one parts and accessories have been included (see list beneath).
2. Coat all exhaust pipe mating joints with anti-seize compound / lubricant (Finish Line Ti-Prep packet included).
3. Read and assessment these instructions, cautions, diagrams and pictures previous to beginning any work.
Honda CBR600 F4/F4i Tiforce Exhaust System Installation Instructions :
1. Remove the lower fairing.
2. Take away the prevailing Exhaust System from the middle of the inventory pipe. Save the inventory exhaust can mounting bolt and nut for the top can to the passenger footpeg for reuse as well.
3. Take away the clamp from the stock exhaust system and save for reuse.
4. Set up the S-Bend to the rear of the inventory head pipe. Reuse the stock clamp, however don’t tighten at this time.
5. Slide the TiForce exhaust system finish can into place.
6. Loosely attach the two rubber bands, stainless-steel bands Okay, and stay / hanger G to the end can using the provided 6mm hardware H. See determine 1 for details.
7. Place the bands roughly 190-200mm from the edge of the top can. See figure 2 for details.
8. Using the stock supplied mounting point on the passenger footpeg, and utilizing the stock mounting bolt, mount the end can loosely, allowing for some adjustment. Insert the inventory mounting bolt via the stay / hanger G.
9. Attach the supplied springs to fasten the top can to the S-bend pipe.
10. Be certain the exhaust system is free and clear, if obligatory jiggle the system to regulate for correct clearance.
11. Rigorously align the two stainless bands Ok so that they’re parallel to each other, and spaced correctly on the can (discuss with step 7/ determine 2), then tighten the 6mm hardware H and the stock mounting bolt hardware. Be sure that the rubber pads fully cover the band(s). USE CAUTION WHEN TIGHTENING THE 6MM HARDWARE AND THE TWO BANDS SO AS NOT TO CRUSH OR DISTORT THE SLEEVE OF THE CAN.
12. Using some brake and make contact with cleaner on a clear rag, rigorously wipe down all the exhaust system to take away any residual oils, anti seize, fingerprints and filth previous to starting the motor. FAILURE TO CLEAN THE TUBING AND CAN MAY RESULT IN PERMANENT STAINING OF THE TIFORCE EXHAUST SYSTEM WHEN HEATED.
13. Test that every one hardware is properly tightened, then start the motor and test for exhaust leaks.
14. Reinstall the fairing and tighten any fasteners per factory specification.
