Removing The Stock Exhaust System
1. Place the machine on a secure work stand.
2. If you are not familiar with removing the original exhaust system confer with the owner’s guide before you start work.
3. At all times permit your machine to chill down before attempting to remove the exhaust.
4. Remove the two bolts from the precise and left aspect panels. Then remove the facet panels.
5. Loosen the stock mid-pipe clamp, then take away the stand-off bolts and bracket bolt that supports the mufflers.
6. Remove or fastidiously lift the mudflap and take away the inventory mufflers and connected mid-pipe rearward. Take away the stock clamp from the stock head pipe.
7. Slightly loosen the stock head pipe on the cylinder head to assist in aligning the parts.
Installing Your New XCR Exhaust System
1. Slide mid-pipe onto head pipe. Rotate the mid-pipe barely to obtain correct alignment with sub-body mount.
2. Install the OEM bolt via sub-body into the stand-off mount on mid-pipe (Finger tight).
3. Slide the muffler onto mid-pipe, align muffler mount with the inventory muffler mount gap, and install and finger tighten the OEM bolt.
4. Upon getting the system fully aligned, set up and tighten all the bolts securely to manufacturing facility specifications.
5. Per figure 1, the best aspect panel shaded area ought to be minimize to ensure panel clearance. Use a rotary instrument or sharp knife for best result. Change the aspect panel and safe the mounting bolts.
6. Re-tighten inventory head pipe at the cylinder head.
